THE MEANEST MOM IN THE WORLD
Was your mom mean? I know mine was. We had the meanest mother in the whole world! While other kids ate candy for breakfast, we had to have cereal, eggs, and toast. When others had a Pepsi and a Twinkie for lunch, we had to eat sandwiches. And you can guess what our mother fixed us at dinner that was different from what other kids had too.
Mother insisted on knowing where we were at all times. You'd think we were convicts in prison. she had to know who our friends were and what we were doing with them. She insisted that if we said wed be gone for an hour, we would be gone for an hour or less.
We were ashamed to admit it, but she had the nerve to break all the Child Labor Laws by making us work. We had to wash the dishes, make the beds, learn to cook, vacuum the floor, do laundry and all sorts of cruel jobs. I think she would lie awake a night thinking of more things for us to do. She always insisted on us telling the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. By the time we were teenagers, she could read our minds. then, life was really tough! Mother wouldn't let our friends just honk the horn when they drove up. They had to come up to the door so she could meet them. While everyone else could date when they were 12 or 13, we had to wait until we were16.
Because of our mother we missed out on lots of things other kids experienced. None of us have ever been caught shoplifting, vandalizing other's property, or even arrested for any crime. It was all her fault. We never got drunk, took up smoking, stayed out all night, or a million other things other kids did. Now that we have left home we are all educated, honest adults. we are doing our best to be mean parents just like mom was. I think that is whats wrong with the world today it just doesn't have enough mean moms anymore.

Just as i suspected, my insomnia is definitely back. i couldn't sleep till 4am and so i was exhausted when the alarm went off at 5:55am i couldn't stay awake long enough to help get the kids ready for school. :( however because Gabe went to work, i set the alarm to ring at 2 pm so i can get ready to go pick up the kids. luckily Yolie called me and she picked me up to go get the kids and spend the evening at her house. we made grilled chicken, pasta salad, mashed taters, and little biscuits from scratch. it was yumilicious.
Now the kids are asleep and i have a little time for me. watching bridges of Madison county just cuz its on TV, but I'm easily getting bored with it. I'm missing my hubbie and have a slight asthma cough so I'm gonna drink a hot chocolate to see if it helps.

It's starting again. I've been going to bed later and later every day. My insomnia is coming back! I went to bed @ 4am, only to wake up @ 6:45am thinking OH No!! the kids will be late for school. On a Saturday!!! Not at all sleepy until 9am I just couldn't keep my eyes open so i napped till 10am. I was woken up by the kids and so I head downstairs to feed them and clean up a little. Making the kids work for me. Now I'm expecting someone at 11:15 and staying for about an hr. And as soon as they leave I'm gonna take another nap. Feeling this tired makes me soo dizzy. like right now as I type this the room is spinning. eeeww!

not much accomplished today thanks to the freezing temperatures. :(
gladly no one is ill but i don't want to say too much yet till the cold is over
I'm in the mood to sing so I'm listening to my Pandora radio
with rolling stones, stone temple pilots nirvana and smothering apples (smashing pumpkins)
old school rock always puts me in a good mood

Selfish NEIGHBORS
It really upsets me how selfish people can be. Last night the new neighbors were partying, which didn't bother me since they weren't being that loud. Yet this morning we find this:
a broken beer bottle and cigarettes on the floor it really doesn't take much effort to take a broom and sweep it up. Gosh how Selfish can these people be?? I mean they have two younger kiddos! YOUNGER than mine!! Aren't they scared they might get hurt? or hurt others? or puncture some one's tires?? This is Ridiculous!!!
They better not get any worse than this. I will fight for the right to keep my kids playing area safe.
It wasn't till i brought out my broom and swept it up that they were all "no what are you doing? I'll clean it" I felt like sweeping it up right under their door to c if they see it.

CLEAN HOUSE!!!!!!!!!!!
I had a fabulous time with my Bebe yesterday! Yesterday we celebrated 9 yrs together!! wow its a long time. My babe and I have had our ups and downs but over all our little world is full of LOVE. Thanks to Jehovah God that he's been taking care of us even when we've pushed him aside. Our family is trying to become more spiritual and so far it has payed off. I'm sure if we push ourselves to put God first everything should fall into place. The neighborhood here has been in peace ever since the ugly neighbors left. And my grass is growing nicely in the backyard hopefully it will finish filling in before the cold seasons start.
I've been thoroughly cleaning each room so I can do a yard sale. While scavenger hunting I've been finding lots of wonderful memories. Like pictures from we went camping and from when we lived in the meadows apartments. plus jewelry I haven't worn in years I didn't even know I still had. I've been having loads of fun.

The Result
Shane called this morning to let us know that they have sent the eviction notice. I'm just worried they'd try to do something for revenge, like slash our tires or kill my plants or something like that. I really hope things go smoothly.

God News Bad News
More from the not so decent neighbor Yolie..... my kids were playing with their ball as well as with the other neighbor's (Linda) daughter (Jessy). The ball went to the street and Jessy went to go get it. As she came back, she could see yolie naked having sex with some guy we've never met right where the window was blinds open for anyone to see. DISGUSTING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I just had to tell Shane about it. Then last night as I was watering my plants she and her boyfriend? mark came home and was yelling and complaining about having the cops over at her house at 3am. She was trying to pick a fight with me but I don't need to. As Gabos went to go pay the rent today, Liz (the secretary there whom were good friends with) showed him the order for eviction for yolie. I hate that a human being is going to be removed from her home via our request, but I do hope she finds a place that is more suitable for her. (AWAY FROM HERE!) Here she's just a serious charge waiting to happen. Or a fight she cannot win, there's no way I'm gonna let her interfere with my hard to get happiness and peace. Or to let anyone talk bad about me that isn't true. We've worked too hard to get where we are and have gone through things no one should ever go through, from now on I fight back. On a good note, Linda and her daughter Jessy are pretty decent neighbors. I really like hanging with them as well as the kiddos.
